Payment

We pay monthly, with the deadline for payment being any time before the 30th of the previous month. If tuition fees are overdue, the teacher reserves the right to suspend classes.

Withdrawal Policy

Withdrawal must be notified one month in advance. For example, if you inform the school of your decision to stop piano lessons on March 15th, your course will officially end on April 15th. In all cases, withdrawal requests must be submitted in writing to the registration office, at the email address: junepianostudioboston@gmail.com

Cancellation/Makeup Policy

  • Each semester, you are allowed a maximum of two opportunities for leave. For these two leaves, the teacher will arrange makeup lessons. Exceeding two leave requests, a third or subsequent leave will incur tuition fees without makeup lessons.

 

 

  • Course cancellations must be made at least 24 hours in advance, except in cases of illness or extreme emergencies. If you are ill or encounter an extreme emergency, you must notify us before the teacher arrives at your home, otherwise, charges will apply without makeup lessons. Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged half the fee without makeup lessons; cancellations made within 2 hours will be charged the full fee without makeup lessons.

 

  • In case of inclement weather, teacher will individually notify each family whether classes will be held or conducted via Zoom. If canceled, it will not be affected by school cancellation.

Teacher Cancellations

Our teachers provide makeup lessons for all private lessons missed due to teacher absence. Makeup lessons can also be conducted online if agreed upon by both the student and teacher.

Late Arrival

Students should arrive on time for class. If a student is late, the teacher will not extend the lesson time. Any late arrival exceeding 10 minutes will result in forfeiting the lesson. Students attending at-home lessons should reserve 10 minutes post-class time in case the teacher encounters an emergency during transit. Generally, teacher tardiness will not exceed 10 minutes, if teacher late, the lesson time will be extended.
