Lesson Cancellations

24-Hour Notice: Please inform us at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel a lesson (except in cases of illness or emergencies).

Cancellation within 24 Hours: Half of the lesson fee will be charged; no makeup lesson will be provided.

Cancellation within 2 Hours: Full lesson fee will be charged; no makeup lesson will be provided.

Late Arrival: Students are expected to arrive on time. The teacher will usually wait up to 10 minutes. If a student arrives more than 10 minutes late, the lesson will be canceled without make-up.
Severe Weather
In the event of severe weather (e.g., snowstorms), each family will be notified whether lessons will proceed as scheduled or be held online via Zoom.

If a lesson is held online, fees remain the same.

If a lesson is canceled and cannot be made up, the paid fee is non-refundable but can be applied toward the following month’s lessons.
Recommended Number of Absences

Students are recommended to take no more than two absences per semester, unless there are exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness).

To maintain continuity in learning, we encourage minimizing missed lessons whenever possible.
Tuition Payment

Tuition is due by the 10th of each month.

Payment methods will be provided directly to families (not displayed online).
Stopping Lessons
If you decide to discontinue lessons, please provide at least one month’s notice so that scheduling can be adjusted accordingly.
Health and Safety

Since all students share the same piano, please remind your child to wash their hands before each lesson.

If a student is ill, just starting to recover, or recently recovered, they must wear a mask during the lesson and inform the teacher of their health status beforehand.

These measures help ensure the safety and well-being of both students and teachers.
End-of-Year Recital Fee

$35 per family for one student performing

$45 per family if two students from the same family perform
